PAM event in english to hotel and restaurant workers

Dear hotel and restaurant workers! 

Spring is approaching, and we are excited to invite you to a relaxed and enjoyable event where you can deepen your knowledge of the basics of the Mara-TES (the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Hotel, Restaurant, and Leisure Industry). The event will be held in English. 

The event will take place on Thursday, March 6th, at Scandic Hamburger Börs at 17:00.  

At the event, you will enjoy a delicious salad buffet, and we will address frequently asked questions about work hours, shifts, vacations, and vacation compensation. 

The event is completely free of charge. Participation does not require union membership, so this is a fantastic opportunity to learn about our rights and responsibilities in the industry, as well as to network and exchange ideas with other colleagues.  

This event is organized in collaboration with PAM (the Union of Service Sector Employees), the Turku Network’s immigrant project, the Hotel and Restaurant Industry Turku Department Association 702, and the chief shop stewards. Please note that this event is not organized by the employer.  

Join us to learn about the most important tool in our industry – the TES! All you need is a positive attitude and yourself. Don’t forget to encourage your colleagues to participate – knowledge is power! If yours colleagues will joinin PAM, you and your colleagues will get Finnkino premium ticket.
